took me roof/ side panels/doors/windscreen and dash off the series trying to get at the back half of the chassis between rain showers ready for this weekends welding marathon if im not doing anything else

as im doing this in me yard open to the elements i dont want the dash or anything like that getting any worse than it already is and besides the bottom half of it is absolutely fooked anyway needs either replaceing or completely rebuilding

I contemplated taking mine to get a burnt out car from a narrow lane behind some houses but decided against it in case it cut out and I couldn't get it going. I ended up using my truck but it was a bit of a tight squeeze.

What you doin with the Veccy seats?

started cleaning the dash and floor in the front seating area and fired the old girl up to help keep the battery topped up. The fuel pump is screaming like a good-un.

changed both rear bearings which apear to have had a lot of water in at some point, which explains the noise. all fixed now

Working with Discomikey Fixed the bad earth on my new Wipac headlights, and sorted out the wiring for the spotlights... and then aligned them all. Should actually be able to see in the dark now

Made a switch panel to mount the 'Rocket Launcher' and 'Terrain Response' switches for giggles obviously :biggrin1:

Fitted new water pump, took the daft lookin a bar off the front. Gettin there, slowly but surely.....

Went to the chippies earlier this evening in the 110... my god the difference the new headlights make is amazing! Can't believe I struggled with the old ones for so long

Oh, and nearly flattened a Punto (packed with young lads) which decided to pull out on me on the main road. I imagine the driver will be requiring a new pair of underwear; seeing 2 tonnes of Solihull's finest sliding broadside towards you will do that to you

Brake pipe replaced, although there was nothing wrong with the old one! Bloody MoT!!
