What have you done to your Landie today.

Started the resto by taking the engine out and am now going to lift the gearbox out. Takin photos but will wait until I have enough to make it interesting before starting a new thread.

Pulled the footwell soundproofing up to find it soaking wet and with a layer of mud under. Whoops... Sourcing a suitible closed cell replacement, till then just got the carpets down. Not as noisy as I thought, even with the wellies on it.

Actually, didn't get the gearbox out, went on the **** and will do it tomoz. Waitin for the pizza to bake before going to baw baws. Night night.

Had a new lift kit fitted :bounce:

Started stripping it down this evening in preparation for taking the engine out to do clutch Thought I would get a head start on the weekend as I need it back on the road for work on Monday

Managed to get front end stripped down, most pipes etc disconnected with the exception of fuel lines.

finally fixed me leaking vacum pump after riding around for 2 weeks with a plastic bag cable tied round it to catch the oil,,,

Never thought of that..... Until I can clean the gasket on mine

Finally got the f/o/s hub back on - having replace the wheel bearings. Now doing Happy Dance round the coffee pot before tackling the drop arm. Bandages at the ready!



Then again....distressed damsels to rescue....will get to it later....

discovered that my oil leak is significantly worse than i first thought, it now drips once every 6 seconds on idle, and used form 'H' on the dip stick to under 'L' withing 200 miles of driving! the 200 tdi sat on my drive is having the cam belt, filters, belts and oil changed this week for a premature swap next weekend....

like that garage langers! il have to get one of those built for next weekend!

Stopped to help an old guy who fell off his bike, managed to get him and his bike in with help from a gaylander driver :O and promptly took him back to his home

dont wish too hard ya coont! i got a fibreglass roof to do in the morning

sold me v8 110 its off over the water and made a few quid out of it aswell which makes a change

Not exactly "today" but over the last few days ive given the 110 a bit of a tidy up. (On the outside at least). Ill include a few pics let me know what you think of the colour. (im not so sure yet!!!)

well i took the rear diff out of my little darling series 2a again today, time for an overhaul i think!
