Stopped the smoke! :cool: Spun it round to do the brake shoes onthe other side... (Done Drivers side the other day - Not driven it anywhere though! It looked like something outta James Bond with the Smoke screen!)

Ah ****... Wheel Cylinder leaking, Not to fear though i have a repair kit.... ****ing paddocks have sent me the wrong kit :mad: All the seals are to small? Looks like a 90 or Series kit... :rolleyes: So i now have to get a new kit before the weekend which involves a 20 Mile round trip to the indi :(
 
Not today but actually last night.
Changed gearbox, transfer box, front and rear diff oils and fitted new fuel filter. So service now complete and all ready for going to Peterborough show on friday evening.
 
Took my old spotlight off to replace them with 2 new Cibie ones from 4muddyfeet and found that one of the new lights has a knackered reflector :(
 
me and a mate got his pipe bender out and did ourselves some offset trailing arms :D

Fixed me dim headlamp.....

Sat down for half an hour with a brew

Refitted me hexorst wif another front box welded in and a new rear hanger bracket.....

And I fitted a new fuel filter.....




And it was a lovely afternoon :D
 
Hit a fiat, that according to police computer doesn't exist. :eek:

wil add pulling dent out of bumper to list for tomorrow, as i'm going to tackle the dreaded bonnet release cable.......
 
Finally re-fitted my front prop. However one of the uj's is missing it nipple so couldn't grease it. :mad:
May just replace it anyway, which will mean prop off again lol.

Oh and my tranfer box still leaks. Fecking thing!
 
touched up a stone chip above the windscreen on ma Disco, and wire brushed the offside inner wing on ma Defender for sprayin wae stone chip tomorrow. Went to Aldi's and bought a 3ltr box o red, and cattled a good chunk o that ( a wee celebration for awe the hard work a put in ) and now its good night from him.
