What have you done to your Landie today.

my land rover is a useful work platform.

Sent it off to have the roof painted in Savarin White (rather than Ford Silver) ....

Had my Defender air-con re-gassed, oh what a relief, it was so hot and unpleasant to drive in this heat and now back to a icy cool interior as well as driving an all time cool vehicle.

Feel embarrassed for mine today, some people walked past, clearly been here before but not frequently and I actually heard one of them say as they rounded the corner 'shall we see if that Land Rover is still there'.

It is.

Best feeling, I got mine re done and told the other half to pick me up from work the day it was done. I said to him I've just not shelled out 60 quid to go home on a warm stinking bus

Water run down to the animals today, my wife however decided to play bumper car with the gate post lol!

It's not the 1st time shes done it and probably not the last paint work tested i suppose!

T cut is on her then.. I have been known to be that female driver that reversed into a pole. Only because I was laughing at something.

Exactly my FL2 came with some distressed bits. That way that if I do my own paint test it won't be too bad. Don't make her feel too bad.

My misses isnt gonna lose any sleep over it dont think shes owned a car that hasnt had at least 2 or 3 panels bent!

No its a lump of metal at the end of the day it can be welded and knocked back into shape, no one was hurt thats the main thing

Exactly.

Cleaned the engine cover something little but looks pretty.

Gone under the S1 seats as I know where the electric at connectors are. Must remember to replace before the mrs spots the “theft”
Replaced the waterproof cover on the motor
Checked the battery & moved charger off my spare battery to top up the charge on the S1

Put the hardtop back on yesterday been topless for a few months, just in time for wet weather . And just now reinstalled my rear shelf which sits on the inner roof ledge and butts up to the roof brace above seat backs.
It’s in 3 pieces of ply and cut to a size where it’s installed at an angle to fit.
Dead handy for camping chairs / 3 man tent etc

And for stopping the drips on the neck in winter
