What have you done to your Freelander today

Does that mean you'll have some light bars ready for sale soon??!

My chequer plate arrived so I can replace the useless bit of plastic on the under tray. Hopefully 3mm chequer plate will protect the important bits

Once i've prototyped the brackets and decided what kind of bar I want (straight or curved) then yes!

Should've asked me about the chequer plate, got some thicker stuff sat around doing nothing, or could've got you some in! Might've been cheaper

Damn! I didn't think of asking you for chequer plate!
Will definitely check with to first next time.
If I manage to handle this ok then my next project is replacing the boot carpet with chequer plate & adding a hinged shelf to bring the floor up to the same height as the rear seats when folded.
Just an inflatable mattress & I can go camping!

The low profile light bar I saw on someone's Freelander had a slight curve in it to follow the shape of the screen.
I've got my genuine Land Rover spot light button to match the one for the front spots!
Just need to decide which lights to use on the roof now!

Haha now and again I get calls for material, but got some 6mm chequer plate sat in the workshop that i've had for ages!
Yours is a 3dr isn't it? If you let me know exactly where you want the chequer plate, I could get it laser cut for you, more expensive than cutting it yourself, but so much neater and it'll be a perfect fit

Yeah i'm trying to keep the light bar as low as possible to keep those who carry kayaks happy, not mentioning any names :D

turned ron-box 2a down from '10' to '8' .. ( medium/high )
don't know about mpg as i get the same on every setting ( no cab-switch installed )
think '8' just 'feels' better for moi

Probably not a great idea to put anything on top of the air bag, your missus might not apreciate her handbag hitting her in the face at 200 mph !!
She could have "Gucci" stamped on her forehead for the rest of her life, or in the case of my missus "George at Asda"

My Wife bought me one of those for xmas, but when we opened the box there was no fixings or rubber wedges.

We went back to the LR Stealer who was adamant that the fixings were in a different pack, but didn't know the part no.

They were still arguing the toss even after I produced pictures off Ebay showing what should be in the box and a copy of a "live Chat" with Brit-Car.co.uk confirming what should be in the box.

Basically I had to get my money back off LR and have ordered the Cupholder now online.

What a bunch of dicks!

Wow that's not good! I got mine from Brit-car, i originally ordered it from john craddocks but then they couldn't supply it so had to get a refund!

Was going to prep it for laning tomorrow inc a wash etc, but didn't have time as a man with some Freelander winch brackets visited me :D
So its going laning dirty...Moors here I come :D

fitted new VCU, removed some NOKIA hands free kit (up for grabs if any bodys intetrested works of blue tooth), sorted the boot tody thing out, topd up all levels and then found a loose pipe?

Still trying to fit the god-damn thermostat. I'm seriously considering following the instructions in the Haynes manual but keep getting to the bit where they say remove the injectors and think WTF!
