I always have my best ideas at the weekend when no one can post items!

Ordered these today, for my upcoming light bar.

Ordered this to connect the light when on the roof, makes it possible to remove them if need be.

Found someone selling these, the correct connector for the Land Rover switch that arrived yesterday. Hoping I can tap into the neighbouring switch for the nudge bar spotlights so that the roof lights will only come on when the main beam is on.

Just got to wait til next week for them to be dispatched & then arrive!

Stripped it down and removed the EGR, started to clean the inlet. Wondering how to remove the starter motor.

What engine? Td4 from under the bonnet take inlet manifold off and a fair few pipes. L series from underneath back of engine with extra long stretchy arms fitted. Don't know about k series

I got my Td4 starter motor off without taking any pipes off. Its a tight squeeze & I recommend wearing gloves to save some skin but it is possible.

I went for the easy way. I don't mind taking off a few extra induction pipes to gain more space. I also did it in the dark. Bit of daylight I might not have had so remove as much to see

Replaced an absolutely knackered track rod end - did the pair of them for good measure (how the car got a MOT certificate 2000 miles ago I'm not sure). Then swapped the Nexen road tyres for 4x Insa Turbo Rangers, took it in for a 4-wheel alignment & tracking check. Feels very planted now, doesn't pull to the left any more, and o/s/f suspension knock has gone. Very pleased with the result.

Then - fixed the passenger heated seat - the plug/socket connector for the seat base heating pad had melted. Just cut the plug/socket off, soldered there wires together and then some well applied insulting tape.
