What have you done to your Freelander today

Didn't actually go anywhere in it today - but I dug a path to it from the house.

Topped up the washer bottle, put on the 'intelligent' battery charger, and set the fbh for the morning trip to the supermarket.

We're running low on essential supplies - beer and wine - Mrs S says we need some milk and other boring stuff as well.

I'd never have bought a Freelander if I'd have known of LZ and done homework first. Not in a million years.

Replaced the fuel pressure sensor the harness and the lp pump, it now works again, been struggling to start and was very sluggish lately , feels brand new now and starts on the button

Oh yeh it died the other day hence the work!

Fitted new screen wash bottle cap with a new one as old separated from its plastic lanyard thingy and disappeared down into the engine bay. And upgraded the (3 door) interior light with a 16 LED festoon bulb and it is now much better.

Where'd you get that from just out of interest?

This is the LED i got from eBay. They are a little longer than the one in the landy but it was easy to make fit.

Ahh right just noticed you high lighted the bit about the filler cap. I got that off eBay to, the seller is land_ rover_ stores. He may have more. If not part no is AMR3267.
Just checked he still has 2 available.

Fitted my EGR removal kit for the L series today and fitted my Flat Blade wipers as they arrived in the post

Well I drove to work and as I pulled up outside the brake pedal hit the deck and there was a big grinding noise! So I took it inside, took the front wheels off and the brake pads had turned to dust! Lol there was nothing left on them! Lol

So I bought new pads, took the calipers off and loads of broken pad fell out! Bloody thing! Under further inspection the disks are fecked and the piston on the caliper is rusted to hell and back so I've ordered new calipers and disks, there arriving tomorrow dinner time so change it all over then I'll put some pics up tomorrow

Fitted H4 Osram Nightbreakers earlier today -noticable difference tonight - however most impressive is the 12W 4 CREE Q5 Car Wedge LED Reverse Lamp Lights Bulb fitted - excellent, can now see to reverse dow the dark drive

Was offered £1250 in px today. Not gonna take it obv - chap said it would retail at about 2k. Said they would need to get the aircon working and re fit prop (fair nuf) and slightly odd, when he selected HDC nothing happened. Explained that last time I pushed the button it was fine - hopefully the switch just needs a fettle. Was looking at 52 plate Td5 ES nice!

Fitted some nightbreakers to replace a failed Philips Vision headlamp bulb.
