Fitted rubber spacers along the back of the Mantec sump guard to stop the creaking noise, seems to of worked. :)

I did the final hose-tweak on my EWP system which is now working nicely. I blanked off the bleed hose that normally comes off the head and ran a hose from the inlet manifold to a T juntion in the header tank feed hose.

Just need a good thrash now to clear all the air out :).

Well I drove to work and as I pulled up outside the brake pedal hit the deck and there was a big grinding noise! So I took it inside, took the front wheels off and the brake pads had turned to dust! Lol there was nothing left on them! Lol

So I bought new pads, took the calipers off and loads of broken pad fell out! Bloody thing! Under further inspection the disks are fecked and the piston on the caliper is rusted to hell and back so I've ordered new calipers and disks, there arriving tomorrow dinner time so change it all over then :) I'll put some pics up tomorrow

.

that looks good.................want one

Yeah, like the look o that roof rack! Weather took a turn for the better today in these parts, bit warmer and some sun. Anyhoo, ditched my blanking plate and refitted the drive sprocket pinion thing. Tbh was dreading this as had a go before and had to abandon when the bleddy thing wouldn't go back in. Looks easy and straight forward but nothing ever is. Still its back on now, along with mass damper so I'm close to being 4x4 again - big relief whether I sells her or not - yes sudden doubt about my plan, having spent plenty time and dollar on the old girl bla bla!! Fitting the blanking plate has no reason to it that I can remember, so don't bother!:)
