What have you done to your Freelander today

Bet you get better mpg out of the freebie than the RX8

Nice car though.

Mike

I actually prefer driving the hippo to the RX to be quite honest, the hippo is chilled out and you just sort of waft along in no hurry. Oh and people stay out of your way.
The RX everyone is trying to kill you on the road and you get people in 800cc sh*tboxes trying to burn you off from the lights.

Not the biggest fan of black alloy's, but that actually looks quite good. Probably alot better than they were before:)
Mike
I like black wheels, especially in gloss. Like I had on my D3.

I plan on doing the Freelander wheels black too. I'm undecided on gloss or satin black at the moment however. Anything will improve on the current tatty sparkle silver.

snap ,we bought that tent last year and the same canoe
Obviously we're blokes with a finer taste in life and nothing going rotten between our toes. This camp site is in Bala, North Wales. What's most infuriating is the fact that my Mum and Dad lived there for years and we couldn't get there as often as we'd liked. So now we have to camp about 3 miles from where they used to be. A great couple of days though.

Probably. That part of Wales thrives for 6 months of the year with tourism and then it's reliant on local day-tripping from neighbouring counties on the occasional decent Autumn days. Only the really hardy hill-walkers and mountaineers visit after then. There's a place called Beddgelert that I'd recommend to anyone who hasn't visited the area before to go and explore.

usually go there once a visit as have been doing since the 70s, and because it has a gelert shop too

I'm afraid you can't beat 80kg and 4m x 7.5m of quality canvas.

In the 60's & 70's we would vacate London's East End for Tal-y-lynn. In those days the camping gear would be loaded into mum & dad's Mini. We were the lucky ones, my aunt & uncle did the journey in their Bubble Car!

We first started visiting the area in the 1950's. At some point later,Dad had a Humber Sceptre with bench seats. The three of us kids slid across them every time we went round a bend, there was a lot of them then and still are. We had our own coloured beach buckets to throw up in. Mine was green! G.G. Your Aunt and Uncle must have been formidable folk.
JM. I look forward to buying the beer.

As you know the area.
Drive south from Harlech, keep going to Llanbedr, turn left at the pub, follow the signs to Cwm Bychan (Roman Steps). Park car, follow path, look at the view.
