Had a mate regas the air con, its now ice cold front and rear cos iv got front and rare aircon :p also fitted the rear view mirror dash cam just got to fit the rear camera on Monday and some extra power sockets.

may i ask is that one of the clip over the rear view mirror cams , if so what one did u get plse :D

Will do once iv mounted the rear camera as this records front and rear at the same time you can also switch it to rear view for reversing so handy if it all works properly iv a similar set up on my bike which iv very happy with the one I bought for my p38 didn't work but isn't the same type as I like the self dimming mirror function. I sent it back and now looking at other option for the rr

Gary, I see you asking about a rear view mirror camera, This is the one I eventually bought:

The reasons why I chose this one:
  • There's a rear view camera which shows at the full 4.3 inch picture when you select reverse gear, powered by the reversing light circuit.
  • The control buttons are hidden away when they aren't being used.
  • The front view lens when the mirror is fitted in place is on the right hand side of the mirror. All the others I'd looked at the lens was on the left and the mirror mount on the windscreen could intrude into the camera's view, bearing in mind the way the mirror is angled for the driver under normal conditions.
The downside is that there's no GPS on it, but I think there's a connection for tieing into a sat-nav. Another downside is that the rear camera is wired, not wireless.
I use a 32 Gig class 10 micro SD card in mine.

i did wonder that , not got the satnav system in mine as its the base model but got a tom tom ,

also been looking round for a small digital display that has gps , compass and combined inclimeter

saw a few a while back where u can have 4-6 displays of different combinations on one screen, were cheap and around 3-4 inches sq ,

but haven't seen them lately
 
Had a busy time lately.

Today-replaced top radiator hose,flushed and bled system.
Replaced front window regulator.
Day before-replaced front hub assembly,cool springs and front pads and discs both sides.
Day before that-replaced rear calipers,discs,pads and pipes.
Day before that-eventually found the non starter fault-knackered wire under engine fuse bed-specifically at the SM relay so renewed and all good. Took off my improved starter cable.
Day before that-removed starter motor and replaced contacts and plunger in solenoid-refitted and attempted to find electrical problem stopping car from starting-no luck so fitted an improv cable to starter Lucas connector. Got some funny looks at Asda when starting her up under the bonnet with a bare wire
"Look Mammy that man's hot wiring that truck".

Anyway just got the shuttle valve in ABS block to change and I'm done!

At least until next week
 
upgraded my door speakers and put a 'little' sub woofer in the back. noticed a few leaks that have got worse have cleaned them all up and will monitor them over the next few days to see which one is worse to fix it first. getting diagnostic done on Sunday to see what is causing the 3 amigos
