Found the pesky oil leak from the transfer box, looks like t is the intermediate shaft. A couple of stupid little O rings mean I have to pull the t box backwards to get clearance.

always the way, when u have to strip a lot of parts out of the way to just fit little gaskets or o rings

think a lot of us are trying to get the landies fixed for lz13 , lol

Ah yes I think I get what you mean.
What I need to do is rip out the airbox and all the pipework to gauge a proper idea of what I can do to neaten it all up and more importantly seal it.

Would think a decent D3 snorkel kit would have parts for the breather system.

Don't think I would ever think offering a hand as disrespectful mate. I live over in Colchester, Essex.

Block the front opening up and add that S shaped pipe up the the snorkel

No Mate it's got a plate with two lugs that shift it to the right a bit to let the pipe fit down the left hand side !

Ah yes think I get what you've done.

Cut lugs off airbox, glue them to a plate and screw the plate to the airbox

just fitted the two x curtain airbags

had enough for today , next will be the passenger electric seat to go in

then fingers crossed the srs light will go out

as i've gone through the system, will be like celebrating if the light goes out after i fit the seat
