Thanks Rob!

this is an interesting point you raise that i have not picked up on. this Disco is purely a green laning fun weekend car and not for long distance stuff! however it still needs to be drivable on the roads and motorways of course. When you say 'dont cook it' what exactly are you refering to? sorry to be ignorant! i am a relative newbie!

Yes currently looking for a 5th tyre and 5th steel wheel!

Egts kill td5s my 265 65s are 2inches smaller than yours and up sustained hills I can get my temps up to 650 and yours will have to work 7% harder than mine to maintain the same speed. Too high and you'll damage your head, warp your manifold etc

Gaguge with an alarm on, if it pings just back off abit

Hi all, these are the 16 x 8 modular wheels i picked up at the weekend - all for £80! just cleaned them tonight and they are like new! for some reason the guy selling them only photographed them all dirty - they looked knackered on the listing :p

I've just took delivery of new shocks, springs, 13t tow strap and shackles and a landrover cast bottle opener for the inside of the rear door!

Just noticed today that the headlining is damp just around the top of the windscreen. Guessing the seals gone at the top of the windshield? Appreciate any advice on resealing?

Headlining has to come out to find it. Check Sunroof and roof bar gaskets. I've had both of these and just recently a leak from the factory seam where the a pillar joins the roof.

Get that lining out sooner rather than later to have a look

Thanks, how do i go about getting the lining out? The roof lining is in really good condition its literally just at the A pillars at the moment

Just drop the front to have a look then, apillar moulding just pop off then unscrew the visors off and the storage plastics and it will just drop, pull your door rubbers away at the tops too

Ok cool, its meant to be dry this week so will crack on! Just trawling through other threads on it now! Have you got a method of sealing up that works? Good sealent to use?
