Made use of the fine weather and replaced the Watts linkage, didn’t do outer arm bushes but did use new bolts in center link, wasn’t to bad to do, plenty of wire brushing and plusgas and everything came apart quite well, had axle on ramps then jack and a lot of wood to lift body up, looks dodgy but was solid when body weight was on jack. Drives like a new car now, no clunking etc.

No problem going under mine even if there’s snow outside :)
Stripped out the rear callipers and fitted new brake discs, replacing seals in the callipers when I get
The little buggers between the two calliper halves, progressing very nicely

Yesterday, D3 MOT complete passed with flying colours

Two advisories Pirelli scorpions getting low on tread that is all

Thinking about selling it now, its in amazing condition and had lots of work carried out 2006 S model 93k miles with Cold and ICE options fitted. Goes really well

Nothing on my Discovery, but my lad came home with a Defender 90 TD5 today... So spent the day looking at that. Oil and filter change, replaced the handbrake shoes, new shoe spring kit, new handbrake cable, new seal and felt washer on the rear transfer output. Quite a few bodges to put right from the PO. And the chassis has more patches on in than an old pair of work jeans...

Not all done today but over the last couple of days, cleaned and painted all the faded and discoloured door cards, painted the cream a and b pillars black painted the rear window trims black, removed the headlining to carry out re trim removed rear carpet to dry it out, removed front and rear sunroofs to seal them in properly and fixed the drain pipes, sealed the leaking alpine windows, fitted the CDL linkage and carried out wheel alignment!! Lots done with my time off work!!

Good job on those calipers hope minecomeup that good. So I had an hour to spare this afternoon so I removed the o/s rear wheel, caliper carrier, disc & ride height sensor. It all came apart with no drama's, now it's just plenty of wire brushing/cleaning then painting & replacing the discs, pads & sensor. I'm also going to do the chassis in that area with rust treatment & paint up to where it needs to be cut for a new quarter to be put on,the only job I can't do myself.

I did have! I also had a pool in the boot and the headliner was a useful overhead shower would of been a great bit of real estate

Tracing the water ingress is on my list of jobs. I have a feeling it is more than just the sun roof drains. As soon as time allows I'll play find the holes.
It would be nice to get some form of sound deadening material back on the floor or working speakers to drown out the noise.
All you hours of work are definitely showing though. Looking shiny.

Well trust me when I say that the water was leaking from everywhere I completely removed both sunroofs and re-sealed them in as the original seals are rubbish!! I also fixed that drains as 2 had broken, the alpine windows were leaking, the roof bar holes and around the top of the windscreen also!! So don't just think that the drains are the cause I kept my headliner out for 2 weeks to monitor for water leaks before putting it back in!

Yeah sound deadening is a must! I had the carpet out to dry it and my god it was so loud

Thanks for the appreciation

Installed new PS pump today. It was easy, bleeding went quickly as well. I have no any oil leak now (at least after 50km ride)!
