What does a 96k service involve?

Evening All,

Could someone help me and tell me what a 96k service on a 2003 Freelander TD4 involves?

hiya robo111, welcome to the forum :)

96k is all the usual, oil, air pollen filter etc etc only thing extra i can see on the service sheet is gearbox oil change for manual getrag box

one thing you MUST do if you haven't already is change the crankcase breather filter for the bmw vortex fit and forget one or you might end up with the entire contents of you sump all over your nice clean engine bay and bits of your turbo firing out of your exhaust...

An unfortunate start - you have attracted the attention of the 'funny' folk.

As someone said there are 2 basic kinds of watchers on the LZ Freelander section. My apologies to them, but I can't remember who it was.

1. Those who have spent loads of cash in fixing problems, and know a fair bit about what they are talking about.

2. Others who do NOT own Freelanders.
