I've tried to search for the answer but its difficult when you don't know what it is....

The doors on my 110 are determined to slam shut on any appendage left in the way. The check straps are there and so are holes on the runner. What's the bit called that would stop it closing and any ideas where they can be got from?

Cheers...

the check straps should hold door fully open where it is connected to bulkhead there should be a z shaped spring, when opening doors check strap slides in a guide which has an opening for spring to catch the strap

you sure storm? Bloody crazy design...doors closed and no air con!

So theres something missing then, good to know.

any idea what the spring is called?

ahh fek, forgot about this thread! just searched for solutions to my doors flinging open and denting my bulkhead!

anyone kno why they fling right open and what i can do to stop it?

ta!

Is it the roller that wears causing the bit of metal not to grab it enough? It seems the bits can be bought separatly! I can't imagine i would need the rail bit that the strap runs in..?
