My renewal is coming up in a few months, so you are giving me hope. But a lot can change in that time. Has anybody tried those 4x4 insurers advertised in LR magazines and the green laneing ones (if you do receive them), how do those compare for you?Insured my other P38 project car ready for tyres & MOT. £224 for the year. Few weeks ago the cheapest I could find was about £600, but this deal popped up.
Did a similar search on Grove & Dean in case it was money supermarket glitch, but same price.

Pump is the usual 3 presses and accumulator sparks up.From my experience, unlikely to be the switch, the brake lights must come on/off at the right times?
If the pedal is funny, could be that.. how often does the pump run and for how long?
When did you last change the fluid?Pump is the usual 3 presses and accumulator sparks up.
It’s getting new brake pipes next Monday so hopefully then. When did you last change the fluid?
If you give it a proper flush, I'm sure that solved an issue on mine. Don't know if it was the old fluid or crap in the systemIt’s getting new brake pipes next Monday so hopefully then.
Do you think this could be duff fluid? When did you last change the fluid?

Betterer ask the garage to run new fluid through instead of just topping off.Yep. Old.. really old fluid can get rather nasty
It really can't hurt. Make sure they get all 3 bleed nipples on the modulatorBetterer ask the garage to run new fluid through instead of just topping off.
They do a few RR and there was an L320 waiting for repair. I would hope they know how to bleed the brakes with them being process driven vice furthest first. It really can't hurt. Make sure they get all 3 bleed nipples on the modulator
It could. I have sorted 2 cars recently where the clutch stopped disengaging, both times replacing the fluid cured the problem.Do you think this could be duff fluid?
Can't comment on the window or mirror but the non starting & gearbox fault is typical of low battery voltage.A man from Autoglass came back out as, after they replaced the passenger window last week (big old crack in it when we got it back from airport parking, who are denying all knowledge) nothing on the passenger door is working. Central locking, folding mirrors, mirror dipping when in reverse, nada. Weirdly the window switch is working on the passenger side, but not responding from the switch on the driver’s side. And the driver’s mirror is still folding in when I push the special button, but the passenger mirror is very easy to gold in by hand. Like the gearing has gone. Autoglass man couldn’t fix it, says the error was there when they came out to replace the window last week (I can’t actually prove that it wasn’t)…and now the Range Rover won’t start! Cranks, then doesn’t crank then I get the Gearbox Fault Transmission Limited message. Lots of unpleasant noises from behind the dash. Never done that before! I’ve walked away and will try again in the morning. Great fun.
