I set the auxiliary heater for 7;30 am tomorrow so its toasty warm when I leave for work @ 8;00 :D

Today I was going to track down the smell of diesel in the engine bay until the weather improved so spent the morning replacing a ridge tile that was blown off in the storm a couple of weeks ago. Found it in four pieces the morning we were flying out, the temporary fix worked thank God.Diesel leak job for tomorrow hope it's not the leak off pipes I only replaced them last month with expensive Gates pipe.:D

Got in, started him (a bit sulky), squeezed him out of the drive.
Superglued a temporary interior mirror in, leaving SWMBO's finger stuck to the tube until she peeled some skin off. Drove to the garage, put a couple of gallons of fresh unleaded in, then 'accidentally' got boxed on the wrong lane for the motorway junction so had to do an extra 10 miles there and back. on the way for the MOT station. Should have helped everything to settle and bed in, get the systems talking to each other and realigned under load.
Pulls smoother and more powerful, much quieter, nice drive, had forgotten how much of a magic carpet he is. Shame the EAS compressor is so noisy. Winter / spring jobs are compressor, solenoid block service and 4 new bags.
Now waiting on the garage result we they get an MOT slot free, maybe Thursday / Friday. Then we can enjoy the open road again.
