been shopping at local Aldi tonight. All disabled bays empty wow brilliant pulls in and massive security guy turns round and starts staring at me, eek, me thinks get the blue badge out quick like. Don't stop him though , out he comes. As soon as I get out of RR wow mate what a beautiful P38 you have there. I have seen it a few times but never got to see who drives it. Must have cost you a fortune, lovely to se one looked after etc. Couldn't shut him up. We had a great time talking about Land Rovers in general. It don't half give you the feel good factor when some really appreciates what you have done. I often get compliments but he really touched the spot( and cue @tomcatalan). He's my new best friend, especially since he's built like the proverbial brick sh** house and runs a martial arts school:D:D

Started the old sod up after a couple of weeks of indecision, ran a sniff test (clear) ran an UV test (clear) briefly contemplated suicide, decided fixing the old sod would be cheaper, realised yesterday was our 38th wedding anniversary, wor lass and me, not the 38, and hadn’t commerated it, briefly contemplated suicide again, but she, wor lass, (not the 38) realised..I had concerns. and forgave me, JCONNAC…what a wummen, and I have me Dream D2 coming in the next few days.
And we beat the Gormans in some competition or the other, aal in aal not a bad week

Ah, just filled her up after removing bullbar, roofrack... Around town, and 30 km hauling a kayak on the roof (with simple roof bars) without motorway the consumption was 30 l/100km. That is 9 mpg (UK). I do have the feeling something is wrong... Because that cannot be the tires alone...

It will be stiff when cold (roar on startup) then slacken up as it gets warm (and can be stopped) and then lock up when hot. I don't know what temperature it locks up at and I don't know how that temperature compares to the one you see in Torque - mine's an oil burner so Torque doesn't work.
Sounds like me first thing in the morning. LOL

Can't resist:D So you got around to buying the little blue pills:D:D
My mate once took 6 of those all at once. He said ( from his hospital bed ) to me that he wanted to give his missus a night to remember. Yep he sure did that and had a heart attack whilst going for gold and spent 6 days in hospital for his trouble. LMAO. It took 4 days for his tool to go down too. LOL.
Absolute nutter. He was 30 at the time also. The things we do eh!!!!!! LOL

It was reported in the Costa Bianca News, front page that same sex couple from the Netherlands drove down to Gibraltar to buy some, they got back as far as Murcia and stopped in a hotel, tried one which had no effect so took more and more the poor fellow had an erection for three days and it got so painful he went to hospital.A spokesman for the hospital said the remedy was easy, the hardest part was getting him into his pajamas. True story.:D:D

Does anyone remember how I said last night that I think I have sorted the left rear air leak last night? It was the EAS bypass. The leak was at the t-piece for the lr and tank. So I need to find some really solid 6mm(if I remember correctly) t-pieces to replace them. Do metal ones have a better seal than plastic ones?

Exciting times

Compression? I'd expect 15 mpg.
