What did you do with your Range Rover today

Defo the alternator bearing grinding and humming away trusty 2 foot long screw driver against the casing spun by hand belt off can here it plane as day

Told someone at the petrol station yesterday how good it was and easy to look after etc (pat pat on the bonnet).. Got up today to find a 'new' oil leak from the oil filter cap... Dont anyone say they don't know what you're saying..

Got the black bastard running on petrol, cleaned the red ones wheels. Now having a drink or two, make that three or more.

Went and bought a Audi A4 2.0 fsi se 53 plate for work car £500. Got a couple of issues to sort but seems to run OK. P38 behaving at the minute famous last word's

Found another leak today.. .. Joy..

..and discovered the air con compressor is stuffed...

After spending a couple of hours identifying what wires go to which speakers etc and doing a superb job ( soldered wire to wire joints then shrink tube) of fitting a plug thingy for my new/old cd player everything works. WOW. But the bleedin thing dont switch off when the key is in accessories or running positions. Think I'm now looking for a new/new unit.

she is still there with character. when turn on right signal light, sometimes it horned and with a quick tick sound. Peculiar. sometimes the car in front think I horned them. Embarrassed.

The stereo? Sometimes the switched live and permanent live need switching round. Are you losing the presets when you switch off completely?

Don't have any presets as such at the mo, don't have an arial rigged so havn't bothered. Pretty sure the switched and permanent lives are the right way round, spent ages looking up how to do it.

The colours are reversed for some cars. Not sure why.

Had another nightmare last night about the 38, awoke in a hot sweat, jumped out of bed and looked out of the window and found the nitro was still there.

UUMMMMM time to put me hand up and admit to being a plank. Had another look at it this morning, found the off button, DOH.

And in other news, spent the rest of the day finishing off masking and then getting down and dirty with the dinitrol. Pleased with the results, but next time in about 5 years or so I'm going to pay some other beggar to do it. Deffo getting toooooo old for this sort of sh1te.

Way Hay..found another leak.. Different place..different colour.. Not giving up.!!!

Not much done today except got underneath and stripped all masking off eggsauce etc, BUT did do a deal on a spare 2.4VM motor/gearbox/tranny box for €500 which I thought a decent enough price for a door stop for me shed. Bonus is the tranny box is a manual diff lock.
