Nearly ready for SORN :(
Measured gap I have to drive through fence - 80 inches.
Manual states vehicle width 74.4 not including wing mirrors

Not sure wether to risk it but digging post out will be huge chunk of concrete and draw unnecessary attention
In my head at the mo either side is plenty of space if I don’t bounce....

Just go for it you will be fine and it only another battle scar if it goes wrong:p

Send it to Bemble. Is that the GM box that needs the Sonnax upgrade?
Its a gm box that's destroyed t/c at a guess. Metal filings in the box so looking for somewhere just to send it and get it done. Itl have to wait till the end of the month. Funds are low after holidays and iv a stack of work I need to get through..
Yes its alot to chuck at a 157k 2003 probably more then double what I paid for the motor but its been quite good and hasn't suffered underneath rot wise and iv got fair attached to the old girl :D

There is a guy up Aberdeenshire way, think he's called Harry. It's wrong side of the country for me. I can't remember who suggested him, but the post might jog a memory somewhere.
I use Gibsons Auto Services, in Cumnock. Even after moving another couple of hours away from them*, I've stuck with them, as I trust them.

Gonna give it a charge then measure to see if it drops. I may have left the blue dot RF plugged back in when I was messing with the door wiring
It’s only gorra drive up the street and into garden. Probably be there atleast a year before I get it back on the road so it’s not having new one :(

Can you borrow a battery for an hour just to get it parked??

Failed to get the central locking to work on all doors. :(:( but did sort out the window on the same door that's giving me problems. Gave the motor a few taps with LR special tool #1 while holding down the operating button, bit sluggish but did start working, A few well aimed shots of spray grease and the window now works as intended. :D:D
Rear wiper will not play, hoping it's the switch contacts, will have a look tomorrow.
Bastarding found a dribble of coolant under her, seems to be coming from one of the head gaskets.:mad::mad:
