She does look handsome... what big project have you got in store this year? I keep forgetting to take pictures of mine. Wish I had some from today.

cheers ;)
ideally this or next year i need to rebuild the Transfer box, the Morse chain is smacking the casing on overrun.:D
which shows itself as a "chirrup" sound from the passengers footwell ;)
It was doing it just before i pulled her from daily service :D one of the reasons she was sorn'd ;)
I don't know if i can muster the strength to lift it onto the gearbox again though!

Her 2nd owner used it to tow a fairground organ to france, so there is bound to be some wear in the drivetrain. :D

engine is sweet though

Oh, that sounds like fun. I would offer a hand, but I don't want to ;)

It is nice she was used how they made it. Mine worked on a farm for about 8 years, and it shows.

I'm still finding bits of straw in mine six months after I bought it.

I had free horsey stuff in the rear of the front seat pouches, straw, bits of bricks (mine), dog hair, glass (mine), bout £1.30 in pennies and a few Lego bricks that came with the vehicle.
And a large concrete post in the boot? From dropping people off at the Severn bridge perhaps?

Headed North again. Have stopped over for a rest. Thought I saw @Henry_b on the way up. Rolls Royce being towed , on a trailer, by a Range Rover ;)
That sounds about right for you doesn't it our 'enry ;)
It's about right Goldie my dear ;) I'm combing the classifieds for a silver spirit as i type this ;)
I've had a Silver shadow on a trailer behind my P38 ;) once..
Fuel economy went south, i think into minus figures ;)

Not done my drivers side front window yet, I was told the chances are it the wire opening ans closing the door, how easy or hard is it to do that, I can see it has a cover on it, are there a load of wires there, and is there some kind of plug, where I can just unplug it and put a now lot of wires in?

‘Work on P38’ has vids on it - outstation.
He’s on LZ somewhere but reluctant to reveal his identity

Not sure if it was a Spirit or a Spur. I was in lane 4 at the time of passing. It was in lane 1. Was definitely a blue Range Rover , but L322. :D

My Merc had the champagne fridge fitted when I got it... left fully stocked with some of the good stuff. Made good Christmas gifts that year because it looked like I really splashed out.
