I put a new seat foam in my old Disco, what a pita that was.

Noticed my serpentine belt - installed 4 months ago and bought from Landranger in October - cracked all over! Not best impressed to be honest. Might have a word with LR about this.

No leaks from my field repairs on those 2 head tubes. I can't put the new pipes in as I'm too skint for another coolant drain, flush and fill right now.
No more leaks from #1 injector after swapping out and being driven.
Finally cured the refusal to start and mysterious low voltage even after putting the new 14.7v reg/rec on the alternator. The +ve connector on the battery post is in 2 parts and a PO put... wait for it........ bathroom silicon sealant between the bits. So they INSULATED the flipping connector! Anyway, swapped that out and now 13.4 - 14.4v showing while driving now PLUS I'm sure the keyfobs lost sync in some way with the BECM.
Starts on the button now with fully charged battery, new Bosch starter, cleaned up grounds

@Mukiwa belt may have been on shelf for years but I would still check it's not slipping/pulleys causing it to overheat. If you get belt off check action on each part, you will feel if anything is sticking/runs rough.

Bathroom sealant

If you drain your rad into a clean bucket, you can put it back in once you've finished. Don't necessarily need new. You may lose a very small amount, but be careful and you can get away with just topping back up with the kettle (once cooled).

New boots all round this morning

Sourced and fitted original Alpine head unit, no bluetooth/DAB( may try a FM transmitter) but looks so much better than the aftermarket Sony that was fitted when i bought the car, and its great to be able to use the steering wheel controls.

Rear hub had a little play
The washer lock
Wasn’t seated very well
And had backed off a bit
Tightened it
And put it back together
I can feel the difference

I stuck one of these in. Not put the DAB aerial in yet as I just use it for streaming music off a memory card. Amazon product

Found a broken drop link on the ARB today. Got replacements from Landranger, ANR 3304 Allmake or Allroad (Made in India). Be careful - the threads are 20mm long not 30mm and DO NOT FIT. They are replacing it for me. Don't need embuggerance like that.

PS. and they will be changing the serpentine belt for me as it's only 6 months on the car

Landranger have pulled them from stock now Well done Landranger

I put Land Rover on mine. No issues. Not that expensive either.

Mrs Bagshots Gaylander had three pairs of "Allmake" drop links in two years.
Gets what yer pays for in my case..fleabay..!

A company called meyle do a version for the '38. They also do a lot of HD bushes and gear for most makes. I had a set of lemforder on mine two years ago.

Just to add.... Anti roll bar drop links... Missed that important detail..

I didn't set out to buy cheap, I need the car over the weekend and when I asked they said they had a pair in stock and that was it. It's only 6 miles away so I got them. I won't be getting crap next time that's for sure!
I'll be getting decent next time. Oh the replacement one's didn't come with nuts either. I mean seriously who sells half a bloody kit? The Indian ones came with nuts, how do these shops expect you to install something with half the kit. Aaaargh.

Take it off, pull the plunger out (quite hard to do), put it back. Using the pedal will set it correctly.

Remove switch, pull plunger as far out as possible depress brake pedal, replace switch with pedal pressed then slowly release pedal.
