correct = the "30" symbol is the maximum speed. A lower speed may be correct for the driving conditions.

you aint one of those peeps i see on the motorway in thick fog, taking the "it says I can do 70, so I will, even tho i cant see 20 feet in front of me" are you :(.
Certainy not, as you say within your capabilities, so if you cannot do 30 mph then it is questionable whether you should have a licence.I for one, stay within the speed limits but depending on the conditions I will always make maximum progress.

As it were another nice sunny day finally got round to repairing stone chips in the windscreen. When I bought her there were around 8 small chips so bought a kit off amazon.
Rainex windscreen chip repair.
It did not do as good a job as a pro would have done but certainly made them much less obvious, I'm guessing that if the repair is done asap then it would turn out better, but overall quite impressed.

Well I may have found another I like.
Off to see it tomorrow.
Dark blue Gray tri spokes tints and all the light grills roof bars and nudge bar.
Its a 4.6 auto on a r reg.

Changed the rear brake pad wear indicator yesterday. Found another one of the previous owners wee ditty's; they'd used a 80mm long, fine threaded bolt, to hold the bottom of the mud flap on.... thank goodness it sheared off!

Also anyone changed the brake lines on a l322, will I want to torch the car before finishing?

Possible suspension faults after wheels have been left hanging ,it takes the height sensors out of their normal range.

Replaced battery with Platinum 642X. Just fits! Spins like a good 'un.

Forgot to mention. After changing the battery I had to resync my keys. Once again the second (replacement key) absolutely refused to sync until I had first synced the original key (#1 or maybe #2?) and then opened with the fob of the original key. The original key resynced just fine. No, I used the original key to unlock before I changed the battery so maybe it was just that and it has to be the same key that resyncs after removing the battery? Or maybe it only works after an original key has unlocked the motor? Very odd.

Changed the alternator bearing found my water pump leaking and it's not that old and not **** part either I swopped out the **** part for a euro car parts one. Can't find my post about the swop but it wasn't long ago

Need to investigate further before I pull it tho but under uv light a glow from coolant stain on the side of the pump I noticed a green puddle under the car a day or so ago having just checked coolant stains lower down on the steering are and damper

My DIY headlining kit came yesterday so have made a start on removal.

A job I was hoping to put off till next summer however am driving to Cornwall in a week and can't have my rear passengers sitting with the headlining touching their heads.
