Considering m. parting words to the d*ck at HK Autotek, if it went up in flames, I'd be the first suspect. Also I wouldnt want to do him a favour by allowing him to make money on insurance. Instead I'll use the court system and get money back that way. :D;)

You're way too sensible to be driving a Land Rover. Sell it now and get yourself a Focus or something!

Gave the RR Sport a new car detail with minor paint correction and Gtechniq Crystal Serum and EXO.

Fitted a new fan belt squeal is gone whoppie. Also finished wiring up my power socket in the boot now can blow up my air bed with ease, just need to get some lights in the boot for camping.

Had great fun towing the recently rebuilt scout trailer full of kit up to camp ready for this weekend. She pulled like a train hardly noticed it was on there, so much easier than using the golf just need the cruise working now.

Quick question we were donated a knacker trailer tent this was gutted and the floor patched up, rewired the lights and cover so for £110 we have a 6x10 kit trailer. I want to increase the load weight can I just replace the suspension the rest is solid enough to hold tents and other camping crap.

Is it braked?

Don't like to tempt fate but for the first time this year, I enjoyed her. Got in drove to the beach, took the dog for a play. Back in, went to town, drove home, parked up and smiled.

Thought it was about time i fitted the EAS block and compressor kit i bought a while back but never got around to fitting it.The compressor was struggling to inflate the air bags taking ages to raise the car.All went well no problems.Well it looks like the block had been rebuild before all the o rings seem in good condition ,but fitted the new kit anyway. The compressor was a different story the piston seal was well worn with dust from it all over the place.well i,ve put it all back this morning and left it on the high setting ,lets see if it holds up,fingers crossed.

Found leak in power steering hose from box to resevoir. New one ordered for Monday. Now to strip out leaky one in preparation.

Now have a working car again!
Stripped out leaky hose on Saturday - bit fiddly to get old hose out so was expecting a fight putting the new one in.
Monday - the part arrived and is was installed and tested within 50 mins (and first time!!). Extremely pleased (and lucky) as somehow I managed to get the new hose almost straight. And replaced the fluid at the same time.

Now to the air con that seems to have packed in, but that can wait for now.
