What did you do with your Range Rover today

Sat by the TV earlier with our 22 month old daughter. On came the opening scenes for Emmerdale....'Daddy's Car' she shouted. I was most impressed, even though it is an L322. ;)

Took her for a spin to Windsor. She is behaving so much recently. Might have to treat her to a new headunit. Can't make up my mind if I want to put in a single din with motorised screen or bodge the dash to put in a double din head unit.

Hopefully picking it up from the garage today, was in for a new right side intake manifold, it decided to blow the old one in pieces. Didn't fancy removing injectors myself!

Missed it! The 530i touring I bought as a replacement "dogs body" has been nothing but trouble. So much for sensible family estate! The lure of the supercharged L322 grows ever stronger....!

Started work on painting up the calipers got drivers side wheels off and left her on axle stands started wire brushing the caliper and some other rusty bits till battery died and it got dark. Wheel nuts where solid jumping up on down on a breaker bar before they would shift. Those 20s weigh a ton not looking forward to refit.

Get some 19s they are a inch lighter. :D:D:D

Really need to sort out the heated seats. Sitting on ice cold leather in the early hours is a real shock to the system.

Well, when I last tried, I couldn't get the seat back off the base no matter how hard I tried - was a total mission. Taking the seats out was a task too as I've got monitors etc in them so the wiring had to be chopped.

You don't have to take the seat backs off at all just remove the seat from the car strip the seat pad down find the breaks in the heating element cut out any burnt wire, resolder, heat shrink and refit seat pad, if upgrading stats cut them out and solder in your new ones
