What did you do with your Range Rover today

Had a terrible weekend with it up in Skye. Then issues on the way home last night..left at 4, got in at 2am. A9 was horrific.

Need to overhaul the EAS system completely. Any weight in the car causes it to fault and eventually end up on the bump stops. Not fun on single track, bumpy, holey, uneven roads. More so when it's your inlaws in the car.

ouch with the inlaws too!!
 
Thankfully I found an LR engineer who helped me first time round. Then, when it happened again, there was no way I was driving the RR to him as the roads were terrible. Ended up hiring a car, driving to get his laptop and lead, then back to the RR to sort. Stopped on the a9 to do it too.
Just need to post it back to him.

And the moral of the story is ? never go on a trip without your laptop, lead and software:D
 
Indeed. Believe me, lesson learned the hard way. I was going to but decided I wanted a weekend without any work stuff. Bad decision.
 
Well not today but last Thursday the P38 paid for herself.

Wife had a pre-op assessment booked at the Hospital, and overnight we had 8 inches of snow!


Wouldn't have got there without the RR.


She has developed a slight clunk from the front on take up of drive (the RR, not the wife), which I must look at when it warms up a bit.
 
Drove it to wales and back all in the same day, around 360miles not a problem at all. Cruised at 75mph most of the way. Very pleased with it!
 
Lubed up my squeeky brake pedal was driving me mad haha. Found the rear ashtray lid rattles and a couple of seatbelt buckles do soooo annoying need to shut them up asap. Greased propshafts. checked trailer electrics to tow a car to paint shop tomorrow morning. and drove it home. Actually quite like her now :) and averaging 27.1mpg over 2000 miles
