What did you do with your Range Rover today

I did nothing to my range rover today,tomorrow is another thing will get back into action with wire brush and cutter blade on angle grinder to cut more rust away. When will it end ,I cut out one bit then find some more is this normal or am I a bit strange .i thought when I retired that was relaxation time but that's the fun of having range rovers
 
Today I rewired the entire speaker system, which involved taking off all 4 door cars etc :(

Seriously - why does someone who isn't capable of tying his own shoelaces, thinks it's a good idea to fiddle with electrics? pfffft previous owners eh...

I can't understand why Range rovers let you do this. My Sterling would just make a bleeping sound and unlock the doors. There was no way you could push the lock button down unless the door was closed in which case you would be inside the car. A step back I think.

First time it has ever happened to me. Usually if one door or the tailgate is half closed it will lock but unlocks if the door/tailgate is pushed shut. :)
 
Replaced the last bad wheel bearing and ordered my new tyres after aqua plaining at 40 mph up hill going around a bend. They are legal but well worn.

Will get them fitted this week think I will do the heated seat upgrade/ repair next that leather is damm cold 1st thing in the morning
 
Used it to jump start the Picasso . . .

(yes, I'm embarrassed to admit I've got a Citroen, but to be fair it's been pretty good, [apart from a penchant for shredding aux drive belts] and I have used it to jump start the rangie before I discovered an unconnected earth strap, so only returning the favour)

Certainly not!
I suspect it's died through lack of use, haven't driven it apart from very short local runs for about 3 months, and since I found the loose earth strap on the rangie last Feb, took the battery out and gave it a full charge, it's been fine - starts first time every time (touches wood, crosses fingers, tempts fate :crazy:)A
 
Replaced the sidelight bulbs as the R/H side one failed.. about 30 second job..

range rovers... electrics.. unreliable.. complex cars.. pain to work on... yadda yadda yadda :p
