I see or don't. So when I put it in neutral slide it across to the other neutral wait for the beep beep it does what exactly. Does it go into low gears 4wd.

Again it's ALWAYS 4WD, by sliding the gearlever across you are putting the transfer box into low range - everything else remains exactly as it was.

Drove back from Wales today. In all around 700 miles these past three days and it didn't miss a single beat. Very happy. Cruising down the motor way you easily forget your In a 15 year old car it's quiet and very comfy.

Not got the auto but sounds about right. Should flash up on the dash. And you'll find getting over 30mph a bit tricky!

Thanks for clarifying that, we learn something new everyday :clap2:
As said in my post it pulls as though there is nothing on the back off it, so was surprised when it pulled my tractor out with ease. was over the moon with that.

I yanked a truck out that had got bogged into the sand on a beach in Cornwall when the tide overtook it. I've only the diesel but it pulled it out as if it were rolling across tarmac once I had it in low range.

I have the diesel and it is a bit of a dog, so was impressed it pulled it out no problems. I was in two minds to use it or use the hand winch, the lazy part of me opted for the RR.

Collected car from garage following MoT. The "y" shaped exhaust pipe at the back had split and couldn't be welded so new rear exhaust fitted. Everything else was fine so good result again. The exhaust was £150 fitted which I thought was excellent value for a twin box system.

Went out to go get me some pizza only to find glow plugs are shot. Didn't appear to get any heat at all, so cancelled that. Have to wait until the week to get it booked into a garage. Not allowed to do vehicle repairs here so have to pay someone to fix it for me. :(

Also think the solar charger isn't going to help much in the winter, the days just aren't long enough. Will have to fork out the £240 and get the Mk3 rf receiver. Such stupid vehicles RRs. All it wants to do is drain my bank account.

See Rachel's post 'Cut the blue wire' and apparently you can save 'boobs' :) and maybe money too. ;)

(And get a big battery -130 AH. Cures all kinds of 'faults')
