Ran Socks to the emergency vet for the last time last night. His little body had taken too much over the last year. I'll miss the adorable fuzz ball.

Well that's put pay to that!!
Can only assume a reducer has been leaking and pressurising the coolant at it looks like a coolant hose has just blown off and dumped the lot!!

I think while I've been sat with the engine off but I've not had my eye on the temp while I've been working on the lpg!!! Can't have 2 connections to obd.

I hope I've not trashed the engine :(

Sorry to hear that Bix, hope you could be with him at the end.

Lost my 20ish year old mog to bladder cancer during lockdown 1. Restrictions meant we couldn't be with her for the injection and I still feel I let her down at the end.

My mother in law came up last minute from London. Didn't bother to test.

Guess who had covid and us now confined to her room while we all isolate? o_O

Thankfully, all of us are testing negative every day though she's still positive.
Hope she's on a diet of Ryvita and poppadoms, cause there the only things that will slip under the door.;)

Nah you'll be fine, I've lost count of the amount of times I've accidentally overheated mine ;)

I hope so! I didn't notice if the needle moved on the idiot gauge or not, steering wheel was hiding it so not sure how hot it got.
Also can't see where it's leaking, either the big hose from the bottom of the water pump or the pump itself! Water was running down the oil filter

Hose or pump if its in that general area as you suspect.

So long as it wasn't pinging you'll be fine ;)

Oh that's so sad:( A crap start to the New Year.
Not how I'd planned the year going for sure. He was due a brain scan on the 5th because they were sure he had physical brain injury which was causing the seizures, but he just couldn't get there without so much more pain and suffering.

So sorry my friend. I'll honest bawled my eyes out when I lost my dog Really feel for you
Oh yeah, tears were shed for sure, tried ringing the normal vets today to update them on Socks, I got as far as "I have Socks registered with you-" and the wife had to take the phone of me.

Sorry to hear that mate.:( I'm thankful all mine went naturally, but it still hurts.
We always knew Socks was never going to have a long time with us, but we expected a little longer. We wanted to make his last day his best. In the end it was 30 mins of cuddling on the floor of a treatment room.

Sorry to hear that Bix, hope you could be with him at the end.

Lucky we could. They left us in a treatment room so we could demask with him. Our regular vet were doing them in the car park so families could be together when restrictions were in place.

Damn. I'm sorry.
Our lab took her last ride in the Range Rover, too.
Socks associated going to the vets as feeling better, so anytime he had a seizure he'd open the door and run to the car waiting for me. Car rides would put him to sleep in minutes. I just wish I was able to take him more places than just the vet though.

Sorry to hear that, not easy even when you know it's coming :(
We were optimistic that we'd have longer with him. Chloe recently got him a new house because his old one was getting battered.

So sorry to hear that. RIP Socks
Not the best 24 hours. I am just thankful he isn't suffering anymore.
