Yeah I know what you mean. I was thinking going grey with black roof but as you said it seems to be a bit common at the moment.

I'm thinking black roof bonnet and wing tops maybe doors rear cross and bumper
Then a colour. Was gana be grey but as said common as. It's finding something diffirent that isn't garish at the same time... I saw a really nice olive green on another build thread. Wasn't a landy colour at all. Maybe a blood dark red or something. Paint cost to factor in too though

maybe try Keswick green then if you're after a Land Rover colour

I meant I liked it wasn't a typical landy colour!
Mines not anywhere near a standard build anyway so no point having a landy colour keep it unique haha
