These photos are of some wiring connectors I found when I had the rear offside trim removed in the boot when I was fitting my towing electrics.
Does anyone know what they are for? It's a 2004 TD4 Freelander S It hasn't got a sub woofer.

Connect the white block to the black block and you will find the Gaylander will self combust and you will go and see some proper rubber dinghy rapids :D:D

It's a pitty this circle is too small so the Freelander couldn't fit in.

Otherwise you noticed the white block doesn't fit on the black block. :D:D

somehow I didn't expect any helpful replies :)
Old Irish, I said in my post I was fitting the towing electrics when I saw them, so I knew it wasn't for towing electrics.

I rather think if you'd bought a dedicated wiring kit, it would plug straight into those prety connectors you've found, I might be wrong though

You are wrong. I did buy a dedicated kit and it did plug straight in, but not to those connectors

Think they may have used a loom from another vehicle and adapted it, may have nothing to do with the Freelander, this is all that I could find on RAVE.

Its a header

connectors are for parking distance control ECU and sounder.....
Thanks Chaser, in that case I will ignore them for now. Fitting a parking aid thing is not even on my list of priorities yet.
Although I drove a Freelander 2 the other week that had wing mirrors that dip when you reverse, I wouldn't mind having them, they were a great help when reversing in to parking spaces

Really!! What happened.
Nothing, but your joke would have been more timely, at the beginning of the thread.
The other about comedy, after timing, is to try to be original and not repeat the same tired old jokes that we have all heard countless times before. Especially when they weren't funny the first time.
