i had a feeling that sort of thing was coming yous are all mad on here mind you have to be to have a landy i suppose thats one thing ive learned lol cheers lads all good humour

I have searched but to no avail :(

Looking at mr noisy's pics i noticed he has arb air lockers on a d1.

my question is why? on the d1 we have manual diff lock so whats the added bonus of the arb air lockers?

may be a silly question but im full of them ;)

all standard landys have open diffs so in very simple terms, i.e if you pop a wheel in the air the diff will send the drive to the wheel with least traction, hence you not moving, with lockers the diff sends even drive to both wheels on the axle so you keep moving.
as i say put very simply

so when you manually put it in diff lock it only locks up the center diff creating equal rotating force to all wheels and not locking up the axel diffs which is where the air lockers come ino play they lock the axel diffs?
