Freelander 1 What a Bollxxx to drop??? SDD & Mongoose no good for FL1 :-(

After Paying top dollar for the genuine DrewTech JLR Mongoose cable to use on my OWN car(s)......
Used it on other cars in the Family and Friends Circle before I got the Freebie online....
Jags.... yup. RangeRover Sport - Yup... Disco - Yup... Freelander 2 Yup.....
My Freelander 1 (2003 TD4) - erm...... nope!
Yes... I know it says 2005 is supported by SDD... but kind of hoped that it would give me something :-(
Is there anything I can use my Mongoose Cable with (software-wise)??
Everything I run in terms of diagnostics are on my Laptop.
VAG - VCDS - Ford IDS VCM - You name it... I want to run it on here.....
Anyone help at all????
Apparently, I need an old copy of IDS to use with my cable.
I'm NOT asking for links, software etc. to be uploaded on here... that is a big No- No... but is someone can PM me with "somewhere" to get the right software to use on the freebie....

Long story short..... only done 10 miles... and it's mis-firing. I want to know which injector is the suspect.

Mongoose won't work with T4 which is the LR software for up to 2005 models

T4 used a bespoke interface setup and won't work with any other interface.

I'm not sure what software will support the Mongoose and your car!

Apparently...... and only apparently..... the Ford VCM IDS should work.....
I tried this and I can confirm that:-
a) either (again) i have the incorrect software
b) again it's b4lls.

However..... interestingly enough.....
My Genuine Ross-Tech VCDS (VAG) Software and Cable reads the codes and let me clear them.
for some reason, I had an emmisions code come up, but after resetting, it hasn't come back...
A lot can be said for running on 1/4 tank of 5 year old fuel!!!

Ford VCM won't work with T4 on a Freelander 1 and the SDD/IDS software doesn't support the older models!
