I'm sure one of you Disco owners can help me with this little problem. Went to the Discovery this morning and the parcel shelf was wet on the N/S? Has anyone had this problem before? I've had the odd drip from within the speaker housing before but not a puddle like this??????

CONDENSATION OFF THE WINDOWS ? I GOT IN MINE YESTERDAY AND THE SEATS WERE SOAKED AN THERE WAS ALL CONDENSATION ON THE SUNROOF DRIPPING ONTO ME SEATS :( soz about the caps )

More likely to be a leaky sunroof or alpine windows pal. Mine suffers from it during heavy rain and especially if its parked with its nose up hill. Think the drains from the sunroof may be blocked. Its a case of taking the headlining out and looking for it. Managed to cure my front one. Have yet to do the back!
Hope this is usefull!

Hopefully your problem is only condensation but you may find that the water is coming in via a drain channel leading from the rear sunroof. I have your problem (the water drips down the rear speaker housing area and, in my case, saturates the boot carpet) The advice I've rec'd suggests that the only cure is a full strip-down of the roof interior (headlining, top window seals etc) and unblocking/re-securing the water drain-off around the sunroof. Would be pleased to read other comments in the hope that there is a miraculous simple cure! - Good Luck

Fortunately I don't have any sunroofs but my alpine windows do let in the odd drip. Use clear silicone sealant from B&Q to sort these but sunroofs need a bit more attention. Some people smear vaseline all over the seals in winter, obviously sealant would make the roofs inoperable come summer. As others have said you first need to check that your drainage channels are clear.

Just a quick tip, thought the sunroof drains might be blocked on mine, found out the grommets in the sunroof had perished, got them out replaced with mastic and no more damp seats... :D also gave the sunroof rubbers aclean while the glass was out... :p
