If you want a fast one for whatever reason, go for the Overfinch :D
Yes please. If I had the pocket money to spare, I'd get one in a heart beat. Just the noise of that Chevy V8 in a P38 when it bursts into life. I get a semi every time. V8s in general sound like sex in any Land Rover though. But as I'm already spending upwards of £300 a month on my fuel bill, I don't really need to increase it any time soon.

Not sure the derv is best because of how it behaves off boost. Sure all turbo vehicles suffer turbo lag, but in these things it is a liability, especially when cold. Put your foot down and nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, 2k BOOST! I hate having to turn right when leaving work because I can't got for a gap, I need a space big enough for a super tanker.

You have a very sick 2.5 then. Get it looked at. Mine is like **** off a shovel.

My engine is fine, to be honest, I can't warrant spending 300 quid on a chip, i would rather buy a nanocom, or some beer or something , if I got one at a good price then maybe

Well it has a high miles service soon, but when cold, I think this thing is trying to kill me. There is zero power off boost until I get some heat into the engine/gearbox. Get her up to temp and it is fine, sure hardly race car speeds but for a 2.7ton vehicle, it has a nice amount of poke.

I take it from these posts that this isn't normal? It was so long ago when I picked her up, I cannot remember if it is an issue that developed or has always been there.

Get yourself a V8 use the rangie for bits
and sell the engine to someone who needs it for their
vauxhall.
