Hi again, I popped up here last year when I was in the market but various things happened and I couldn't buy. Now I've bought a 99% finished NAS replica off a mate! It's based on a 1986 ex military 90, fully rebuilt V8, recon Range Rover box, new clutch and a whole load of other new bits.

No pictures at the mo, (it's not very pretty as it's a mish mash of colours) but when it's painted I'll post some pics.

Nowt wrong wiff NAS rear lights - had 'em on my hybrid. Got a set to fit to me Depender when weather gets a bit warmer, so about June 2011 then...

Indeed I will take no notice! I like the way it looks and the 2 specialists who are completing the work say they can get more money for NAS ones so it's staying exactly like it is.

and how much are these "specialists" charging you to complete the remaining 1%

Ha ha!, that's what I like to see on a forum, mindless jealousy. I was warned about this forum but I thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt, you've clearly proved I was wrong.

I'm confoosed Perhaps you could point out the jealousy bit. All I can see is a bit of mickey taking and one person asking how much it's costing you?? FFS if you spit your dummy this quickly (And I think it must be a new LZ record) How do you survive in the real world??

I assume you had a look around the forum to see what sort of a forum you were registering on. So it can't have come as any surprise, when people started cracking jokes As the site logo says "One Laugh Live it" If you can't deal with a little humour then to be perfectly honest the site will be a better place without you.

By all means hang around and join in the banter but if all your gonna do is spit your dummy and chuck your toys out the pram everytime you don't get the response you want then **** off and don't come back cause we need people like you, like we need a hole in the head.

Of course you shud be! He's put some NAS lights on his landy and massively increased it's value I'm fooking jealous. In fact I'm so jealous I'm gonna copy him In fact I'm gonna go one better and have mine converted to LH drive so it can be a proper NAS spec landy. cause as far as I know Landrover never made any RH drive NAS spec models. Then mine'll be worth even more than his.

But surely the 'specialists' know what they're talkin' aboot! Shirley ye widnae need tae go to all that hassle of changin' tae a LHD tae get more money!!!

Hadn't run scared anywhere, just got my wireless router up and running again. The people I spoke to are 2ndgear4x4 and RDS Engineering, both of whom I'm told are very highly respected in Land Rover circles.

I don't really know what I'm doing. It has all the lights fitted but they are not connected, the wiring harnesses are with the car but I'm nervous of electrics. Also, it needs a new distributor and I don't have a clue about them. It needs an exhaust fitting too, something else I've never done. I'll happily attack it with a roller when it comes to painting though!

Apologies if I caused offence earlier, I took your first reply to me as taking the ****, I should have looked around the forum first but naturally I was excited and posted first.
