If you can read this you have made it to the new system. We've been working on this for some time now, but I'm sure there will be problems and things not quite working right.
The picture gallery is still being imported, it will eventually be here!

We are now running xenForo software, which is a bit more up to date than the 6 year old vBulletin 3.8 software that we previously ran. Some new features you may like, some you may not!

Please reply to this with problems and general comments. Preferably constructive! Somethings have still to be added, some things have still to be programmed. Really we shouldn't have opened up the forum again so soon, but you all pressured us(well @Rosie did) :D

Please bear with us on requests and smileys and stuff, we still have a lot more work to do.

Just wondering if there's a limit to the viewable screen width? Reason being I have several Freelander sales brochures on ere with pic's side by side to give you the full open book 2 page view. Many of these now show the pic's one below the other, so I assume I've gone over the viewable width limit. Hence the pic's are now display one below the other as opposed to side by side?

they still go side by side, but due to margins and what not, they no longer fit the old resolution with this theme. so if you had a bigger monitor (or upped the res) it'll fit, or reduce the size of the pics... but remember they'll just be inline for that res, smaller will not be side to side

Had a play with this before. My monitor is 23 inch. If I use the iexplore zoom level in the bottom RHS of the display to zoom out, the LZ window shrinks. The left and right side marker strips then move in, and the pic's stay in the same position. So I must have hit the limit on viewable width.

ah, i only looked at the first few. yeah the ones after page4 on are a bit too big for the max-width. he upped it to 2000px, but it's too small for those pics.

buuut, not too much point upping the max-width as only large screens will see it and 99.99% will see one above the other, like yourself.

pics too big for new theme :/

Thanks for looking. I will wait and see what happens. If necessary I will reduce the pic size. The reason for them being big is due to some of the words being too small to read. Most of the brochures are A4 when closed. The alternative would be to pdf them and add them to my dump truck free account for peeps to download instead of viewing on ere.
 
I've spotted a new tab in my profile called media but it say's I don't have permission to view media. Come on then. What is it? What yer got planned?
 
Could we have the 'Mark all as read' option back? Lots of threads that I was up to date with are now saying that I have unread entries and I'd just like to wipe the slate clean.
Small reduction in margins and padding as well would be nice. I have a large monitor and I can hardly get any messages on due to all the breathing room - a one line post takes about 25% of the screen height!
