wheres it teed into the water?
Why would it need water?
all the webastos i have seen work by warming the cooling system up quicker, and the heaters as diesel normally takes a long time to generate heat from cold how does this one work?
I've just finished fitting a rover 75 one into my 90, works a treat.
Had those type in various trucks in 90's
Very hot and some were piped into the demisters and the truck heater system
I want one![]()
The water heater type ones rely on the car heater being any good, whereas the air heater type ones are a very good heater in their own right.
One of the very few reasons I would like a diseasel be used these are excellent for overnight camping trips!
Could easily fit small diesel tank I guess.
What sort of cost??
Cheers![]()
Cost me £180 for everything. While i was searching for wiring instructions I found a pic of 1 that was piped into a jerry can.
So, for less than £200 i could have actual heating in a series...
I think that's just too crazy, no one would believe me if I said I had a warm series...They'd call me a mad man and stop talking to me on the CB
(what model have you got... i'm very tempted!)
