Water pump weep.

Just replaced oil cooler matrix, radiator, expansion bottle, inter cooler and associated pipe work and now have a weep from a small hole in the casting of the water pump.

Is this an over flow or have I just found another problem?

You have just found out that it's time to replace the pump. It's leaving this earthly plane. Check and see if the fan has play in it, any play at all. If it does, that's another sign.

Thanks WSR, have just ordered new pump and D rings, gonna end up with a whole new truck at this rate.

Well how about that, replaced the water pump and have stopped the weep, Fantastic or so I thought....

Just like someone else here in the TD5 section I now have the expansion bottle pressurising and emptying its self but temp gauge showing normal. Bo*%@CKS, so I take I'm now looking at one sniff test and probably the best part of 1500€.

What are the chances of it just being the Head Gasket or am I clutching at straws?
