Does anyone know the part number for the twisted hose that comes out the top of the water pump into the thermostat housing? Mines got a pinhole leak (and I thought it was my rad!) that only became apparant yesterday. Done a google and looked on paddocks/lrdirect but can't indentify the part.

Thanks in advance.

That's great, cheers Dave.

Just googled it, BritCar UK want £26.48 (+ £4 VAT!) for one! They can take that hose and stick it sideways.....!

Just rechecked and that's for a genuine landy one. Britpart from same site, £2.65....

Great if I have the number right, mine was about £3.00 from paddocks IIRC. So for that money it can't be far wrong.

Got one from Lrseries, I did a custom quote so getting it shipped for £5 all in.

Trouble with paddocks is they have fixed shipping, if you want a little item, I always think they're a little steep.

Fair comment about Paddocks, I was not trying to push custom their way or name drop ect, it is just I tend to use them as I can get a small list of parts ect together they (normaly) post it in one go to me here in Spain.

I have tried one or two other companies and the service is less than brilliant, after waiting long periods of time for a parcel some companies try to blame the Spanish courior/postal service (really quite good) and then when you start an investigation it turns out they did not have such and such item in stock despite confirming over the phone they had in an attempt to get the order.

I have only had two complaints with Paddocks, The first was a set of wheels were sent to me and one was not finished as nice as the others, they sent me a replacement wheel. On the second time a slave cylinder was missing out of my order (about 10 items) and they sent that (via priority post) a couple of days after my phone call to point out the error, I have used them many times over about two and a half years and am quite happy.

regards

Dave
