Have Disco TD5 ('99). Have major loss of coolant streaming from underside of waterpump, even when not running. Have been suffering coolant loss for a while and not had chance to investigate, but major issue now as coolant comes out as fast as you put it in!! Can see coolant streaming from tell tale holes in water pump housing. Presume seal is shot? but very hard to see as all in behind and underneath everything including underneath air con pump.
Have found cost of water pump advertised at £30.00 'ish, so could try changing unit, but have no idea how to get to pump to remove and fit the new one?? anyone got the experience of how to do this the easy way. Any help appreciated ASAP. Need to get it fixed as dependant for work.
