Water noise from engine when accelerating???

Hi everyone, I am new on here and read quite a few posts and everyone seems to be very helpful on here.

I have a little problem. (Knowing me probably big)
When driving my Freelander 1 (1.8 K Series) I know! I get a water noise like it is being pumped around which is very noticeable from inside when driving it. Only get it under acceleration.

Any advice would be helpful. Has already had a head gasket and probably due another any time now!!

In no particular order:

Split, loose or generally knackered hoses?
Trapped air?
Water pump on its way out?

Are your doors still on?
Have you checked your coolant level?
Have you introduced yourself in the Intro Section?
Where is the noise coming from?
Sorry, but me crystal ball is still in for it's annual service
