Hi all Got a water leak in the timing case of my 90 which has a disco 200tdi in it.
Believe there is a seal or core plug behind the timing cover back plate, any ideas or knowledge here would be welcome.
Got a pin in the diesel pump.
Got the timing belt off the bottom pulley off etc.
got water pump off
Got outer timing belt cover off
got timing belt off
Now been stuck at the diesel pump for a while. Keep looking at it...
Have cracked off the big nut but how do i get the pulley off without messing up the pump timing.
Can i undo the three bolts on the pulley and then just remove the pulley ?, will i need a puller ?
Have ordered the diesel pump timing kit off the bay,
What bits am i likely to need gaskets obviously, probably a new water pump is it a core plug or seals behind the backplate. ?
would like to get them ordered pre lockdown as the l200 is getting some off road use and the weather and ground is getting wetter here in bog land, and she ain't no landy off road, and the pheasants have gotta be fed..
All help and advise greatly appreciated.
