Water in sunvisor and light fitting td5

Hi,

I brought my 2000 TD5 6 months ago and love it (and strangely so does everyone else right now).
One of the problems I have had is water coming in either from the sunroof or the window seal. During heavy rain water ends up driping from the sun roof handle, or collects in the interior light (which does not work, has good bulb and fuse) and water sometimes is in the tray above the visor.
A friend said this was common and is due to the tray in sunroof having a channel for the water to run from, and these block.
Is that right? or any suggestions?
