Another way to seal pollen filters is use self adhesive foam draft excluder just stick it round the hole, screw covers back job done no mess and removeable any time.

I like the idea of that.

Just seen some water in mine, although it is by the passenger side of the transmission tunnel so more likely the aircon drain I suspect.

Hi guys I've just finished replacing the filter under the wipers and both the pollen filters.

It do a proper job 😚 I made removed the cork gasket and replaced with a new one.

You can buy a sheet of 3mm cork and then trim to fit
Simple. 😚😚😚😚😚😚

I'm taking pills for my leak
It's not that much messing around.
Doing it this way you can remove the covers with out messing around with removing sealant etc

If it's free then you can't complain
The cock cost me £3.00 for a sheet and it took me ten minutes to make two gaskets

I just cut around the cover. Then pressed down very hard to make an indent on the cork and then you cut it out with a craft knife

No need to spend time scraping off the old sealent every time 😃

If your car is on the ramp, feel up either side of the bellhousing and you will feel two rubber tits on the cars body. Give them a squeeze and you should get an arm full of water.:)

Certainly got an arm full when I did mine and it was cold and not pleasantly clean but sure worked. So Go on give e'm a squeeze and you might even need to give them a poke ha ha;)
