hi can any one help me i'm getting water running down my bulkhead on left hand side i thought it was coming from around bonnet hinge but i sorted that out any one know wear else it could be coming in at

Simple to most complicated

Wiring bungs which have come out, there are a lot of wires there
Corner of windscreen leaking
Sunroof drain tube split?
Rear washer pipe disconnected
Rusty inner wing, remove the wing takes about 30mins and check inner wing

Do you know it is coming down the bulkhead? I had water in my footwell but it was running down the inside of the A-pillar and into the footwell via a cable hole behind the footwell trim. The actual leak was where the roof meets the A-pillar.

i took carpets and sound proofing out as it was soaked it coming in when it rains inner wings are fine i just had new wings in. seems to run from left hand side right at top of bulk head

could be coming from pillar it seems to come from that area

When you say soundproofing ....are we referring to the sponge under the carpet ? If so its best done away with in any way thats easiest . If you want some matting in there use karrimat type closed cell foam camp bed roll . You can get dumdum mat to stick on or paint on paste to deaden the metal panels if you feel the need , or even stick the closed cell down with contact adhesive . Me , I leave it unfixed so as it can be took out to dry the metal if flooded or for welding .

Camping mats are very cheap ,6ft x 2ft for a fiver or so , closed cell foam so water doesnt hold in there . Spray undershutz on the metal as deadening , also dirt cheap .

reseal around the windscreen seal where it meets the roof and all round with some decent black sikaflex , not silicone ****e.

I'd check the air con drain bungs underneath by the gearbox, If you have air con that is and if your using it,
I know mine gets used

the car has been stood for about 4 months while ive been bits on it, im going to take carpets out tomorrow and cut the soundproofing and pour water on windscreen to see if its coming from the front
