Ok, as some of you know im in the process of swapping a petrol v8 for a 200tdi. The only thing I'm unsure of at the moment is the wiring side of things, as unlike the td diesel, it's not just a question of noting where the old wires went, and putting them back in the same place.
What I want to know at the moment is the black wire that operates my washer bottle goes to the live on the coil.

Now obviously I will no longer need the coil once the diesel is in, so where now do I put that live wire too to operate the washer bottle? Do I wire it into the alternator or the starter or something?

Also I have managed to get myself a full heater plug harness complete with relay. now some of the wiring on it is obvious, I have two 'O' connectors one bigger than the other, one the bigger thicker one obviously goes to the starter motor, and the other goes to the first heater plug with all the others looping to each other.

Its the ones from the relay Im not sure of. I have a very thin yellow/green one, which funny enough I have that wire on whats left of the engine harness I got when I got the engine, (as they cut it off in the engine bay) so that obviously goes to that, I also have a thickish plain white wire which funny enough i had the same looking wire cut off on the starter on a spade terminal, so does that white wire from the relay go back to the starter to that spade terminal? I also have a red/white thickish wire which I assume goes to the ignition switch?? (can someone confirm that) Then I have a very thin black wire which I dont know where it goes too. any idea where that one goes too? And can anyone confirm what I have put is right please?

I'm hoping there is a landrover leccy wizard on here that will know, or has the harness and knows where these wires go.

Any ideas anyone regarding heater plug harness? Was just thinking regarding the washer bottle at least, could I run a wire straight from the battery to the washer bottle live that used to go to the coil? and do the same for any other accessory for that matter?
