or just built to look it . - i dont think so but its pretty cool.

was spotted on a cycle through the wilderness in the north west of scotland ! - think i could take it to an RTV ;)

It's a 1968 Snow-Trac, AB Westerasmskiner of Sweden built 2,220 Snow Trac machines between the years 1957 and 1980. These machines were primarily sold in Northern European countries to be used on snow-covered terrain. Ski resorts also employed these machines to groom trails. While not built to be a military vehicle, some European Armies drafted Snow Tracs into service.

Looks nothing like a Land Rover apart from the colour scheme:D

As others have said, it's a Snow-Trac.

As for the RTV, it would be fascinating listening to the scrutineers' excuses - er? insufficient tyre pressure :)

Probably wouldn't be allowed on a road though.

Tazz

to be fair last year when i first saw it i knew even less about land rovers than i do now - i took the photo for a mate who i knew would like that sorta thing.

The west of scotland is ace - its like a step back in time. - its quite literally just parked by the side of the road - not a house in sight - dya think it just broke down there ;)
