Was going fine now the electrical faults are coming HELP

Can anyone one give us some sensible advice, not merely the CAN OF PETROL AND LIGHTER. !
We have recently purchased a five door 1999 freelander it to be fair has had most of the car replaced, box, clutch engine etc...
Now all of a sudden NO REVERSING LIGHTS and Front wipers seem to work when they want too! oh and there a pond in the rear boot storage rear glass and actuator have been previously replaced..... Please can anyne give us any quick wins ! yours hopefully

these are all common faults which have been covered before, maybe have a browse through the freelander section and see what you find. once you have exhausted everything in here, it is possible that they might be faults we haven't seen before, so come back to us.

reversing lights check fuse first then bulbs and if it is not them then could be switch on gearbox , your swimming pool is probably due to the rear door seal , front wippers is another thing there are a few reasons , but do try a forum search
