Warwickshire CC is proposing to TRO a couple of UCR's. They inadvertently allowed a culvert to be demolished. This cut a through route in half making the whole unusable.
They accept that the sections of Far Longdon Road (the E6997) and Compton Scorpion Road (the E6994) have vehicular rights but the cost of reinstating the culvert is estimated to cost £40,000 and they would rather spend £4,000 and build a bridle bridge to accommodate walkers and horse riders.
The culvert should have been started last January but the council are crying "no money".
We believe that the land owner has agreed to foot the bill for the bridle bridge as a better option than having bikes and 4x4,s on his patch.
We need as many objections as possible to convince the council that they have a duty to build the culvert to make this a through route.

All objections to be received by 17th September 2010.
This is the spot where the lane has been cut in two -
